About Angela
Thanks for visiting my site! My Cultivated Life chronicles the process of learning to live daily with as much passion and meaning as possible. I write here 2-3 times a week for others who are committed to living meaningful, extraordinary lives. You can contact me here.
A little bit about me…
- I’m equal parts extrovert and introvert. I enjoy spending time with lots of different types of people, but I’m also just as happy to spend the evening at home with my head in a book. I’m always reading more than just one book, and there’s an ever growing pile on my nightstand.
- I’m passionate about my work and can’t imagine staying long in a job that I don’t enjoy, merely to pay the bills or pass the time. But, as a reformed workaholic I find significant meaning and fulfillment from other areas of my life as well. I work in a non-traditional legal job that’s about half law and half business. I love the creativity on the business side and enjoy working closely with business development, sales and marketing teams.
- I love arugula, blackberries, honeycrisp apples, and any kind of chocolate, especially Paper & Chocolate. I spend my leisure time traveling to connect and learn, cooking, reading, learning to garden, and exploring my hometown of Dallas.
- I grew up in Dallas, went to law school in Washington DC, and have also lived in London and Copenhagen. If Dallas were a walking city I would want for nothing, but at least I can walk to Starbucks from my house!
Disclosures
My Cultivated Life does not display any advertising, but I do include Amazon affiliate links and an Amazon aStore. I’m very excited to be able to share the books I read and love with you. If I recommend something it’s because I believe in it wholeheartedly. I will provide additional details in each individual post as necessary and indicate affiliate links with an asterisk (*).
From time to time, I work with Paper & Chocolate, LLC, a luxury stationery store located in Dallas, Texas at Inwood Village and owned by my mother. I occasionally receive compensation for my work – most often in the form of stationery, chocolates, or other goodies!
